I had a wrx did a similiar way insurance totaled however I had it pulled and repaired. I know a wrx isnt a e30M3. I'm just saying if you were closer I'd buy it off you and fix it myself. The body shop estimates will be high though so a total will be the most likely way they will want to go @ first. I would prepare myself for a battle for the bucks. You need to get all receipts together for any and all recent work done, Don't say a word about that work/maintenance done til they tell you what they want to give you then point out all the detailed work done. This will pump up the number but if you let them know up front they will say oh that's all included. I would also look for three cars if you can find them in similar condition for sale, they can not say OBO or negotiable. It has to just detail price. I got an extra 2 grand when a semi totaled my 07camry this way. Just make sure you don't make them aware of this before they throw out the first offer. GL

my friend just got his e30 m3 appraised, the car is a nice car and its pretty clean but honestly nowhere near as clean/nice as this car appears to be.

his car was appraised for 32k
