Salvaged m3's are still m3's and will appreciate in the long term as the clean title ones continue to rise. If one really wanted to, they could reshell the car as long as they have all of the parts. Good reason to buy early models. Look at what Vlad did.

to all e30 m3 owners, if you guys could do me a huge favor...

if you have a recent bill of sale, or proof of payment on a good condition or better e30 m3 and low mileage (<120k), can you please send me a copy. this insurance company is saying my car is worth $9044. and that's with 9% tax.

if you don't have an e30 m3, you can still help by spreading the word!

                  much love,

Who are these people? The General or some other barely legal insurance company?

Shove some of these ads down their throats.

                    With love:

you're the man devon! thanks! i just added those links into the nastygram i'm writing them right now...

i don't want to say who their insurance company is yet. at least not until this is over.

i already send over a list from autotrader which has an average value of $26591.44 for 9 cars.

Lowball and hope he will take it. It's the typical insulting first offer. I had to dig up receipts for everything I had into the car when I went through this in the past.

True. Still crazy if he had full coverage that his own insurance company isn't picking up any slack. My collision covered my car in full for $10k and it was an eta.

I recommend you go to S14.net and get help from the membership there.
Even with a motor swap they can give you good pricing/sales details.

                                totally.

i sent them $3-4k in receipts. they said they would take those receipts into account, then determined the car had the same value the next day i'm still working on finding the other receipts. but, i have no proof that i bought my engine, trans, flywheel clutch, and some other big ticket items such as labor to shave and paint the engine bay.

they are taking stance that if i didn't pay for a part with a credit card, i can't claim the part as being on my car. these motherfuckers...
