It's kind of nice to set tools on when you're wrenchin. Maybe clean up the corner so it doesn't stick out so far.

Make sure your coils tucked away from the heat also. With the exhaust right there its easy to cook um on hot days when the ambient temps start rising.

Did a bunch of Everglass last night after a few final welds.

I also got my RX7 4-piston front calipers in the mail. Ordered them off ebay. I also ordered the mounting kit that guy sells. Hopefully this helps for a budget BBK.

Looking good! I am about to tackle smoothing the engine bay, stitch weldind and spraying the bay and interior in my 5.0 project. Lots of good info here!

Who is the ebay seller for mounting kit for the calipers? I only need the bracket for the caliper then my brakes will be ready to mount after a caliper rebuild,

            Thanks!

I posted in Stuart's build thread about the u-joint to use for the DS. Check it out. Here are the 2 links for reference:

Why You Might Need One. When doing a V8 swap into a BMW, the BMW U-joint is non-serviceable and requires special machining to replace. Stealth Conversion’s heavy-duty BMW driveshaft conversion flange has the same bolt pattern and pilot dimensions as the stock BMW driveshaft flange, but it uses the road-tested Dana 1310

I think I just need to sell my car, get another e30, find a swap nobody has ever done and just take my time. Everyone's coming out of nowhere with amazingly done 5.0L swaps :puppy:

Absolutely love it so far dude, can't wait to see it finished.
