cool, was asking because my hood is the only part fading badly for now.

as for the flaming, i think youll be ok if you follow these guidelines:

no angel/halo/corona or whatever you wanna call em
dont plasti dip everything you see
    dont cut springs
    no clear tails

    what am I missing..

    but I jest, I jest..

you cant go wrong with your car, the only opinion that truly matters is your own.

      ^^ Well spoken..haha.

Yea, my hood, driver fender and roof are done for. The hood was easiest to cover up. I'm thinking of doing a matte gunmetal vinyl wrap on the entire car since its gonna be a while before I can afford a full paint job, at least a decent paint job. I mean, I could go Maaco on the cheap, but a vinyl wrap would be better quality then that, haha.

Yeah, it was usually with an SAE car, though. Occasionally in a crappy Miata or turbo'd Civic, back a few years.

Ah ok, I may have met you in passing then..lol. I just glanced through your build thread, you and I may know a lot of the same people here in CS.

A few of my friends were involved in the grassroots Civic build and another buddy of mine actually still has the shell with all the decals still on it from the challenge.

          Small world, lol.

Yep, I ran that program for a few years before I did the formula car stuff, I bet I was the one that sold him that chassis. I blew up the second motor in it right before we sold it.

You hung out with the TAMSCC people more, right? Records, Hibblegibble, etc.

Some of the OG members actually...lol. But i was never a part of TAMSCC...just the local car club. Sam Craven...with the 240, couple of others..Casey is the one who bought it, I think he helped out with it too. Funny, everyone I know here I've met thru car related things.

Max, thanks! Wheels are Rota Aleicas...15x9/15x10 0 offset. They are Sakura knock offs. I like them but I have other preferences for this car, they'll do till I can afford new wheels! Haha

Yea, I know both the CCW's and BBS's are played out...but damn they are both sexy. They just flow perfect on a properly dropped E30. =D

So I wired in my E-fan at a buddy's house out in the country. On my way home, a small animal, not sure what, decided to dart out in front of me and this was the result.

I pulled over soon as it happened to see the damage. After seeing the massive hole in my bumper, I notice most of the pieces that broke got shoved into the bumper. I yanked them out and held onto them. Got some plastic weld and a bunch of sand paper.

The pieces of the trim were gone, but that's easier and cheaper to replace then the entire bumper.

So, after some sanding and painting, this is the result. I know its not perfect, but it will do till I eventually get a new bumper. I found a molding off a member on here and its en route.

Finally got around to getting it installed correctly, I had some trouble with the ignition lock and getting the steering wheel straight.

Anyway, touched up the M badge on it (blue was all scuffed up, happened to have some paint that matched) and had the car aligned today.

Just missing the roundel, and speaking of that...anyone know an exact size and where I can find the motorsport roundel?

Those wheels are ugly as hell, but I love them! Nice little E30.

LOL...that's by far the best compliment I've gotten on them.

Only cause its true, I'll admit they are some funny looking wheels but for some reason they work on the car. I just repainted them too...I'll post pics soon.

I always wondered what Sakuras would look like on an e30. Love the wheel, but not on the car :D
