The early 318i has the m10, the later, facelift models here ALL have the m42. Are you saying a euro market 1991 318i will have an m10?

The early ones have M10 engines that give you about 105bhp, the later cars have the M40 engine that delivers about 113bhp.

The 318is is the most sought-after E30 after the 325i and the M3 in europe. Prices are much higher for a 318is, up to 5000 euro (6500 USD) is normal.
