          beautiful! while im sure you payed less than what an actual m5 cost, im not so sure you didnt have to sell a kidney to get it either.


          as far as his claim:
          All exterior components, interior component and mechanical/suspension bits genuine converted M5 pieces.
          he falls a bit short and is missing:
          gray side skirts/bumper lips
          m5 tourings had the 3.8l s38
          rear headrests
          reduced ratio steering box (15.6:1 servotronic)
          i dont think any came with that standard burl wood trim, most had no trim (all the panels are completely different)
          and some other small things

                            Car is stupid fast like s50 e30 fast. Literally everything is power and works. Interior was replaced witb alcatara everywhere and it does smell great. I paid less than half the price of a real one. Awesome cosidering its EVERYTHING is M5 minus the vin. Check out Lukerussell.net its the site the guy set up to sell ot there is like 100 photos. I took some awesome shots down by yhe water downtown today so ill edit amd post them. Plans for the car is just fix old stuff to make it all new again. Also ill probably wrap ot jet black just to protect the body and paint. But all money needs to keep going to my e30 build. Its been sotting here with a shaved and painted bay waiting for the m20 stroker im building. Btw the exhuast is seriouslu orgasmic.

                              Remember to do a Valve adjustment and reshim if required. I currently have both my cams out having the lobes resurfaced. Keep an eye on the timing chain tensioner (upgrade to the Euro S50B32 one if you need to replace it)

                              They are VERY picky engines but running properly they are amazing. I'd also invest in a set of Vacuum gauges to sync the throttles.

                              Oh and the MAF is a first gen Bosch Hotwire MAF, only used on the S38B36 and Motronic Porsche 928, very expensive to replace (over $1000) and around $400 to have repaired.

                              Enjoy it, mine has tons of Dinan goodies on it (Suspension, Cam gear, Chip, 850i Brembo brakes, etc)
