The thing about "purists" if I would have not said anything you would think it was a actual m5 touring many already have. Purist won't like the wheels won't like the exhuast won't like the stance. "Purists" are boring fucks

Purist or not, if i put an m3 badge on my e30 and tell everyone its an m3, your jimmies would be rustled. I'd be staking a claim about my car that isn't even true. I might as well put a ferrari badge on it since I am already a narcissistic assfuck liar.

Wow you are a real fucking idiot.

OP, at the end of the day you're the guy driving around in the S38 powered e34 touring. I'd rather have your car, M badges and all, than most of the e30s on this board, including my own. More power to you.

Yep. Major difference between slapping an M3 badge on a clapped out eta, and an M5 badge on a nuts and bolts clone.

                    I'd know the difference immediately.

The irony in this post is ridiculous. It the same exact thing.

Other then a few brackets in the engine bay for the coil, expansion tank and the air box etc can you tell me the difference between an M5 touring shell and a 525it shell.

Exactly, and 10Toes does have some background on this, he helped me build my M5 Touring

And yes, I call it an M5 touring

What is this sunroof called? Looks awesome.

If it drives like an M5 and I want to drive it as much as an M5, Why not badge it as such! :p I'm gonna go look up the build page or pictures now. Going to need to own one of those in the future.

Once had the privilege of taking a customers car to get a wash at my house, that just so happened to be an e39 M5 touring clone. Had some silly yellow stripes on the mirrors but it was beautiful and felt amazing even being "gently" driven 2 miles to my house. Loved the hidden v1 he had in the sliding door of the console too.
