Only that you can proof us is take your BMW to dyno and test it. To see if it reach 7500rpm. My opinions it is impossible unless you have bigger engine.
Thanks for all the positive feedback folks, really appreciate it!
As for the cam-cover, there's a catch. Shipping will be a b*tch cost-wise (I'm in the Middle East). But yes I can get my mitts on a few if enough ppl are interested.
And as for the 7500, just let it go will you... You are under no obligation to believe anything I say. Only time will show you that I'm not the lying type. I am certainly not going to waste my time and money on a dyno test to prove anything to anyone, no offense.
Idle is a little lumpy, and midrange until 3800 is lackluster at best. But no issues at all with accessories, a/c, etc. All of them work just fine, and the car isn't fidgetty at low rpms. After 3800 though, HOLD ON TO YOUR UNDERWEAR! I wouldn't trade my 304 ever.
Just for kicks (and with total disregard for my engine's well-being), I tried redlining the engine at 7500rpms to see if there are any adverse affects like Jordan mentioned. Quite shockingly, it happily smacked against the redline quite a few times with no problems.
Que in Jordan's flames :) ....
And again, to those who don't believe me, just keep in mind that I have nothing to prove, this is just an info-sharing forum first and foremost. Flames, dares, bets, and arguements are just an entertaining byproduct LOL
I want to hear your car!!! I like you engine bay, you need a wire brush and some header wrap.
"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.
How exactly do you know your engine is turning 7500RPM?
The tach you have pictured doesn't go that high, and none of them are particularly accurate.
Borrow a good timing light with a digital RPM readout. Take video (with audio) of the engine being brought up to 7500RPM with the digital read out and engine bay fully in frame.
