Hello all,
I've been a 'lurker' on r3vlimited for quite a while, but now that I have an e30, I figured I'd 'come out'
Little intro: Living in Lebanon (the country), I just got my hands on a CLEAN e30 (no accident damage ANYWHERE, original--albeit faded-- Diamondschwarz paint, and a relatively good engine). It's a Euro-spec 325i Touring.
So far I've added a cold-air intake, long headers, custom-mapped chip, schrick 304 degree cam, schrick performance valve springs, high-compression forged pistons, LSD from an m-technik, uprated clutch disk, and HID headlights.
I plan on doing further bottom-end work in the near future when funds are available, to make it a 2.7. It's new rev limit is 7500, and gets there REAL easy
Well that's me... and my e30. Damn these cars are good lol.
I have a couple questions though:
1. Does changing the DME from 380 to 173 harm the car in any way (I couldn't find a good chip for the 380)?
2. Why is the Schrick 304 considered a race-cam? I find it quite driveable in bumper-to-bumper traffic...
Regards,
Mr. K
