My car only has 103k, bought it with 76k. All M10 cars are low mileage since they are so slow, nobody wants to drive them.

Odometer claims 379k but I have oil change receipts for another 100k while the odometer was broken, and the receipt from when the odometer was fixed. I'm at an estimated 480k on my 87eta original motor and tranny.

Odo says 225k but its been "rolled back" (read: cluster replaced) over 80k

The E46 just turned over 100k, resale probably just plummeted $1k on it in that 1 mile.

not quite and I won't hit it soon.. 250k on the chassis. technically my block has almost 300k, and so does the transmission and front CV shafts. :p

700k is a lot of miles, I don't think I'd put that many miles on one car in a lifetime! I've put 125k on it in 11 years, that's under 12k/year and I drive less than I used to..

I bought my swap car with 333k on the original drivetrain. The head even had the original hex bolts on it. And then I binned it.

My brown car currently has 303k on the chassis, 200k of which I put on over the past 13 years. Original eta engine saw 250k, then I put a 220k mile m50 in it. Then at 295k on the chassis I put a 134k mile m60 in it. So I currently have a 303k chassis/142k engine. Both the original m20 and m50 were still running great when I sold them, I just wanted mo powa :)

My eta has 219,000 at the moment. I call that high(ish) mileage, so I'm now just trying to rack up as many as possible. It will do it. I'll be in this 'club' one of these days!

                      dead thread but...

Popped my m20 at 297k. Zinged it on a down shift and went with a m50 instead of rebuild. Checked compression 2 weeks earlier and it was still in spec compression range 142-150psi. Motor is still sitting out back so maybe when i pick up another project deserving of an m50 ill go back to original so i can boast

my '89 is around 305k on the m20. lil drips, just put in another tranny and still pulling strong! (knock on wood) clean interior minus the cracked dash - after that it'll be really cherry!

My E30 has an estimated 270k on motor and chassis. Engine is coming out pretty soon though since it has a rod knock now. I should hit the 300k mark in a few years, assuming nothing else goes horribly wrong.

Not an E30, but my Jetta has about 515k. Original motor, refreshed last winter. All the bearings were absolutely perfect.

The odo stopped at 202k but it was at 189k in the year 2002 so I'm going to assume I'm well into the 300k's. Head gasket was leaking oil so I replaced that and some other gaskets and hoses and she's as good as new. Amazing machine, really. Just put a set of Coopers on her and next up is some suspension refreshing.
