    Buttoning up some details

Here is some progress on my interior. The seat backs are on and I got a Momo Corse steering wheel and new leather ebrake and shift boots (not pictured). My new shift knob and ebrake handle are on the way (pictured below). I am also going to install black leather headrests when I go home for spring break because I don't like the perforations on these vinyl ones.

I also never posted pics of my trunk setup, even though its not finished. All I need to do is cutout the false panel to cover everything up. Sounds great nonetheless.

Looks cool, but I just don't think those seats fit your car at all, mostly the interior. I dunno, something about them just doesn't look right.

honestly, anything less than a full m3 interior in your car is just not worth it.

          IMHO

I think you guys give my car way too much credit. It's a beater, the paint on the rear half of the car and on the hood is terrible. The car needs a repaint. I just wanted to replace my Corbeaus and I think these seats are great.

It was either these seats or some 15+ year old worn leather seats, and I think these look a lot nicer than cracked and faded ancient leather.

IMO your exterior is wonderfull and well your interior is...ummm.....just a let down. The interior is just not up to par w/ the rest of the car. Its hard though cause your exterior is soooo nice. BTW that box is weak ;)

Right, because a drop, cheap rims, and an iS lip is so amazing.

What is wrong with the box?

the box is almost more importatin than the subs themselves. a crappy box is going to really killl your system...bandpass FTW!!!

Your exterior is nice just b/c it flows very well and just plain looks great. Its nothing special like you said but it just looks nice.

Again, I ask, what the fuck is wrong with my box? I hate bandpass boxes. It's a .77 cubic foot sealed box, perfect for the sub's specs and perfect for my musical taste.

The box isn't crappy, it's built damn near perfectly out of 3/4" MDF and perfectly sealed. It'll run circles around a prefab box. Sorry if it doesn't look good enough for you.

dood don't get upset...it just looks like a really cheap box that you made out of a kitchen table or something. sealed is good for "tight" bass sooo I guess thats what you are looking for. It just looks crappy IMHO.

You are just being ignorant and its pissing me off. The box is made out of 3/4" MDF with gorilla glue and nails holding it together, sealed twice over with 100% silicone. I'm sorry I didn't make it pretty and carpet it for you, but thats why I am making a false panel to hide everything except the face of the sub.

The people that don't go for "tight" bass are usually listening to crappy hip-hop and wouldn't know the difference anyways. TJ's box is functional. Not everyone likes to waste time making the part of their sound system that is just sitting in the trunk look pretty.
