I'm not ignorant...I know about audio stuff...cheap...look at those crappy L things holding the board w/ the amp on it to the box, the wiring mess, this is almost endless! the box looks OKish but you REALLY have to know what you are doing when you build a box...not just slap some gorilla glue on some wood and rock on. There is a lot of calculating involved in it...did you do that stuff? I just think that the interior is not up to par w/ the exterior...geeze go slit your wrists mr emo.

its NOT going to sound good unless he spent time calculating everything and building the box almost perfect...me I prefer computer designed PERFECT boxes.

But yeah half ass is the R3V way

Honestly I think your new seats look better than the Corbeaus. Can't wait to see everything installed!

You are fucking retarded, yes I calculated it all. I've been doing car audio stuff for almost 6 years now, its not like this is the first box I've ever built. The box is .77 cubic feet internal volume which is perfect taken right off the sub's spec sheet for a sealed box.

OHHH the wiring isn't bundled all pretty. Like I said, its going to get covered up. The wires being a mess has absolutely 0 effect on the sound.

The box looks just fine to me. With the false panel no one will see it, so it doesn't matter. Sealed boxes will almost always give the most 'accurate' bass reproduction, and are easy to build to boot. However, they generally require more power which leads me to my question-TJ, how does the HiFonics Z4400 perform with that sub? I had the preceding model (Z440) that is an excellent amp for the money, but I found it just a tad lacking driving one 10" sub in a sealed enclosure.

Also, I would have never guessed you had paint issues on your car-it always looks amazing in the pictures.

It's pushing 220 watts to the sub, its not a lot but it sounds amazing. Response is very tight and with the metal core I listen to its exactly what I needed. I will probably upgrade amps down the road but this is an easy, good sounding setup. The front channels of the amp are powering my Kappa components up front.

The paint shines really well, but if you catch it at the right angle there is a lot of oxidation on the rear quarters.

TJ, I personally like those seats a LOT. I think what's holding your interior back now [and possibly the thing that is tricking people in to not liking the seats] is your grey door panels with the cloth centers. IMHO they don't go too well with the seats. This is just my assumption over the internet though, I have never seen it in person of course.

Regardless of anything, love the fuckin seats

...And good work on the box

The wheel is amazing, it really adds a lot to the feel of driving. It cuts the tops of the gauges but its not annoying to me. I'm never going back to OEM.

                          Thanks for the comments Matt.

I agree. If you get some black door panels I think it will help the interior alot.

I like the cut of your interior. I think my next purchase is going to be a new steering wheel.
