jordan- i love your car, always have, but- something about those rear tires just doesn't look right, almost like they're sticking out of the wheel well. can you do anything about that? otherwise the car is tits as always.
Kumho's are widely rumored to *as a general rule* be wider then they are actually rated. I don't know what specific tire models this extends to but I know its true of MX's. Don't know about 712's and I'm too lazy to go measure them. The sidewall design also plays into the fitment. 712's for one have a very sharp/square transition from the tread to the sidewall. Alot of tires have a much nicer swept transition instead.
Either way they are only temporary.
I currently have no camber adjustment at the rear. The amount that would be required to tuck it in would be pretty unusable.

Bashed? And yes, Kumho's are garbage. I've had plenty of experience with 711's and 712's. Both garbage "go fast" commuter tires.
Free tires do rock, but they have less then a month left of tread.
I've never played with MX's but I've heard alot of people really like them....
Either way 245/35 Toyo T1R x4 will be the next tires wrapping these wheels most likely. Just need to let the dust from the move settle and square all my other bills away.

I've done about 350 miles of highway travel this weekend.
One definitive downside to running rollers this wide.. it tramlines like a whore.
There is no taking your hands off the wheel unless the highway is very flat and smooth. Any defined ruts will pull the car all over the lane.
Cars looking great
Kind of off topic-I've heard they are pretty garbage tires. When my es100's are spent this summer, I think i can get a set for next to nothing. What kind are you running? Do you notice alot of noise?
712's are not nearly as bad as people say they are, sort of like the ES100's. Both were praised to all hell at release, and then suddenly everyone hated them.
Go look up some track numbers, the Kumhos can still outpace most of the new tires in their class in the wet, and barely give up anything in the dry.
