a ITR-engined civic hatch doesn't feel fast nor it is really fun to ride in, but it is fast. your eta might feel fast but it is still as slow as dog balls. besides, bmws suck at straight-line, learn to put that suspension to use. it's more fun anyway. if you want to feeeel speed, get a v8, wooohoo. torque out the ass like diaherra after bad mexican food at that dinner down the street with the hot waitress

I completely agree. I was never into making my car any kind of speed demon, but I do like the extra torque coming out of corners, and off the line. Like you said, I'm much more interested in putting my suspension to good use, and learning how to control the car and drive better.

Not something I would normally do, but it seemed natural to compare it with my other vehicles.

Speedwise, the WRX is a much better comparison than my Hyundai or Volvo. ;)
