The Procars are coming off as I have something else in the works. Just for fun here's a side-by-side of both wheel setups. The next look will be somewhat of a blend of both worlds.

PM me if you're interested in the Procars. I probably won't list them for sale but they're available if anyone wants them.

The procars should become permanent. They look great on your car.

                Final specs are:

                Front
                17x8.5 et13

                After

In the meantime, making some progress on the turbofan project with Asim. We plan to bring these to market and have them available for both large and small BBS RSs.

Here's a teaser of the labels we had custom made for this set.

Going to run some meaty Direzza ZII's on the RSs because I like the look, and also 245/35 is virtually impossible to find in the US.

your wheels are fantastic looking. how do you make the wheels looking so shiny? are they machined or polished? i just acquired BBS 7Jx15 ET25. but they are dirty with hard stains. how do i achieve your kind of polish quality?

also, where do i get those BBS caps with RED letters? they look simply fantastic!

                thanks.

Thanks. These are brand new polished lips. Original RS lips are machined and coated, but most people strip them down and polish. It's a ton of work. I'd have them done professionally.

IIRC the caps came from purems.

i am about to take them to a specialist tomorrow. but i want to do like how yours are done. so after polishing what's it coated with? would you share how much you spent on such professional polishing?

are the caps new or also refurbished? how much did you pay for the caps? the red color is so gorgeous looking it is a perfect fit on e30. significantly sexier than black color.

                        thanks

There's no coating. They're just raw, polished aluminum. These lips come polished so I'm not sure how much the polishing should cost on its own.

Caps are brand new, they were around $30 each IIRC.

i just had the specialist look at my wheels. the lips are coated with a layer of clear coat. and the aluminium is finished with fine lines. if clear coat is removed and you polish the aluminium, the fine machined lines are gone! is this the case with your wheels that are polished. and why would you not spray clear coat to protect the polished aluminium?

in my case i have some oxidation and chip marks. so the coating is broken exposing aluminium.
