Got to see the holy grail of M-tech this afternoon

Was running some errands down by the beach today and stopped by to see this (amongst many other cool Bimmers, like touring, tons of e9's).

And here is my own diamantschwarz four door, which received it's 1st wash in over two months this afternoon...

Needless to say, finally seeing one of my dream cars in the flesh has only made me want one more!
    Some day I shall convert my 318i/4 M42 to a 320is S14.

your car's gorgeous. an S14 would be phenomenal of course, but it's definitely not needed in a DD

I'd be down for an Italian 320IS, heck, I'd almost be tempted to build a clone of one.

haha thanks. keep in mind that on the hill shots, the e-brake jacked the front up like an inch.

Pretty sure this one is for sale still: http://www.flickr.com/photos/look-aa...7628139806340/

And holy grail? Really? They built 1,205 of them, that's a bucket load when it comes to rare E30's - every single special edition M3 was produced in fewer numbers, as were there 333i and 325iS / 325iS HP models in South Africa.
