I looked on the plastidip site and they had some kind of solution that would allow you to fix tears and imperfections without respraying the whole panel.

I'm shocked at how good that looks. Nice.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"Comment

Thats pretty big in the midwest, my buddy just dipped his Viper to protect it. We have a few companies around here that do knockout jobs, door jambs, under the hood.
This is one of the owners cars of a local shop called "Addipted"

All done with plastidip.
and my buddies Viper

Your car looks great man, I'll be doing the same for next season once the car is together until I can get a proper paint job.sigpic

Dude I LOVE your car! These wheels and fat tires make your e30 look buffed up! Can you please tell me what tires and wheels they are? Please! Thank you!Comment

Most is pretty awesome. There are a couple spots that if I did it again could remedy.
So water drains down the C-Pillar/Kink. I left those pieces on so the plastidip isn't all the way into that ridge so water was able to get in there. So I made some small holes and the water runs out. It pulled up a little bit.
Otherwise all things considered it looks great.
I think a full respray will be this winter.

not bad though, lasted for 2 years! Im thinking of doing a temporary color change (either a wrap or dip) until I can splurge and do a full color change with glass out, door jambs, and engine bay.Simon
