i have a feeling i'm going to be sitting at the 'banned in the first thread table'

cut springs = H&R sports, bilstein shocks
it used to sit lower, but i stripped the sound deading, AC, PS, spare, radio

called out on the Ebay wheels - they're Rage Enduros from Tires.com.

yes, shes no show car. the way i drive i cant justify a 5k paintjob.

when i removed the carpet i found 3 rust holes in the floorboards 2-3", so yea, the chassis is junk, hence the flat black.

the motor is another story. i bought it from a friend of mine who had $4k in the rebuild. blueprint, balance, aggressive port and polish, intake and exhaust manifolds portmatched, lightned flywheel, and a bunch of new seals, gaskets, etc. The exhaust is the i dual with a gutted cat and muffler. it idles like a smallblock, and revvs like crazy.

o and the ellipsoids are real.;-)

So for the price of your headlights you could of at least afforded a $300 Maaco paint job, which would look heaps better than a spray bomb job.

I like it. Flat black is definately in. That's the perfect flat black car. Built along the lines of the old school rat rod. Looks like shit, but motor and suspension make up the car anyway. I am a huge fan of beating on my car. I would never, ever spend $$$$ for a paint job on a car I'm just going to beat down anyway. Good luck.

has nothing to do with that you idiot! it looks like crap. and you cant deny it, no matter how hard you want to. I never said anything about what he should change, just pointing out that you are an idiot if you think that car looks good. one more time, i am not trying to tear his car apart, cause i have respect for the fact that it has a good drivetrain, but come on now.

Yeah flat black is starting to be a big favorite, even in the vw scene...

My favorite example of a flat black car...
yea, except that flat black car has a real paint job on it, not rattle can, and has a primer on it, to help protect it.

i dont think i like it.

I was just giving you shit about the springs, I figured you probably had something else under there. And yeah, the first thing I thought when I saw the car was "oh great, chicken wire boy is back!" Do what you like; your car is an ugly pile of shit, but if you like it that way--fine. Doesn't mean I can't think it's an ugly pile of shit. ;)

I just think it's funny how most people don't accept difference in taste, period. I happen to think that for a car that is really only meant to get the job done as far as driving goes, it looks fine. That's my opinion. No need to call me an idiot for it. I didn't call you an idiot.
