Awesome. I work just off Avery St in Tualatin. Keep an eye out for either my 'vert or my red 330Ci. Props on a sweet car!

Thanks everyone! And about the skirt question, I'm not sure to be honest. Came on the car when I bought it, maybe someone else could chime in.

Looks awesome man. Those are factory vert rocker panels. Beefier for the lack of a roof.

Its been quite some time since I've updated this thread.

Car was having problems idling recently and would die often. After a visual inspection i notice the intake boot is cracked, so i ordered a new one. Had to make due with duct taping the boot to get it to stay running until it the new one arrived..

                  New boot

Also cleaned the ICV while i was in there.

After that was replaced it still had the same issue.. Figured it wasn't anything to due with air or fuel so i checked all the plugs. They weren't terrible, but since I've owned the car i haven't replaced anything to due with spark, so i decided to do a little overhaul.

Got new plugs, ignition wires, and a cap/rotor setup from a local euro shop.

                  Old crap removed.

                  New crap installed.

Boombam problem fixed. Love when stuff works out like it should.

On a more exciting update, i also got new wheels on the vert. Have had them on for a bit now and love em'.

Found these bad boys on Vwvortex and just had to have them. Crenshaw classics from an old vette. Specs are 16x8.5 and 16x9.5 and the offset was unknown, no stamp anywhere. I had a set of salad shooters on my coupe so i already had the adapters to fit vette wheels on a 4x100 car.

                  When they showed up.

Had to go out and buy some hardware to bolt them together, which i totally underestimated the cost of... Pretty darn spendy. I've never owned a set of multi piece wheels before.

After they were together I loaded them up with some tires and took them down to get mounted.

I haven't had a chance to go out and take a bunch of shots of them yet, so i only have a couple.

Took her out to Pacific Waterland this last weekend, actually ended up getting first in my class.

Next on my list will probably be a stiffer spring setup front and rear, but who knows when that will happen. For now I'm going to try and enjoy the last bit of summer before the rain comes for 8 months... Till then!

I was trying to get this car before I moved from Washington. Thought a vert would've been great down here, but Im realizing a black car is no bueno. Love the progress and looks great on the Schmidts.

I still cant believe that you cruz around that low!!!! Yes, you have been thru one pan but dang! I would be teeter-tottering everywhere by me even if I were able to get out of my driveway. Looking sharp!

BTW, which mounts do you have, E28s?

                          Thanks guys!

And it's a challenge to drive it some places for sure, just gotta plan my route and take bumps and driveways reaaaallll slow. Other than that it's relatively easy to drive around in, maybe Oregon has better roads than other places.

                          Yup! Using e28 mounts.
