    Thanks for the help! I live in So cal. No, the car is non ABS. I tied the rear line in with a t, but am gonna have to add a proportioning valve. Sorry to read about your vert!

      The rear lines are T'd in the back anyways, do you know for sure you will need a proportioning valve? I had to do the same, used the same T thats in the back, under the car.

        Im pretty sure, under hard braking the rear wheels lock up even if the fronts dont.

                It's been a minute, not much in terms of progress other than more basic maintenance. Replaced door stops as they were both broken and replaced sealed beams with newer style projectors.

                I have a few questions, will the Z3 shifter work with the 318i stock 5 speed trans? I bought the bushings but cant get the circlip appart to remove the bottom bushing cup. i was thinking to do the shifter upgrade anyway down the road and will need it with the S50 drivetrain swap as the shifter is missing from it anyway.

                  also, how the hell does this quibo come off? I got the bolts off but cant seperate the drive shaft back far enough to wedge it out or the new one in. do i have to drop the diff?

                    Drop your center support bearing,, then the driveshaft will move backwards giving you enough space to drop the front end of the shaft.
