      Those are 225/50 R 14's on the 'caps, right? Any spacers needed?

        As much as I hated doing it, but turned out to be a last minute resort...we had to double-stack 8mm spacers on the fronts (from what I've heard--not a good idea) to clear the strut housing under load. No spacers needed in rear, scrubbed the inside a bit in high-speed sweepers but no major rubbing. We checked the wheel-torque every 8-10 laps and never had problems.

        Interestingly, the 225 hoosiers were about 15mm wider than my 225 yoko es100's, so that is part of the front rubbing issue

          Oh ok. Turns out I'll be getting some almost bald RT-215's for free, so no R-comps for now ($$). Good info, thanks a lot Stu.
