The e30 is still looking good Stu. Ohhh how I miss the days back in hs of ridding around in your e30 while everyone else wished they had one at the time.

Edit: Stu, I also just remembered the Geo you and jon would rent for like 50 cent and then go drive the shit out of it.

          Here's a couple more:

          CMP on March, 10th:

Thanks for all the kind words, I have a love/hate relationship with the car.

Court--they are CDOC's version of the grpA mirrors, injection-molded plastic instead of CF/fg. They are not electric.

Smoodriver-- I do love it, but it is an ugly ducking up close.

It did over 31mpg for me today on the way to Charlotte and back, best it's done so far!

flat or convex glass? how useful are they?

How many e30s aren't ugly up close - not to mention the ones that are from far away!

Dave, they are flat-glass. Visibility is low at first, you have to duck them way out to see your blind spots, so you just have to get used to the frame of reference. I like them because since the glass is flat, things are actually where they appear!
They have superb mounting fixtures, even on the bumpiest road, you get a crystal clear view from the mirrors.
One gripe about them is they lack any tint (or whatever is put on factory mirrors)...so at night, headlights are extremely bright.

I think I saw your car the other day, I live right at that intersection in the 2nd picture.

Ha, interesting! I don't know the grid of downtown too well, but would that be Main and Church?

Nice clean sleeper. I like it.

Except that damm black kidney grill. I don't get why everyone likes these black kidney grills.

                              Silver OEM look FTW.

Did you paint it with house paint yet Stu?

Looks good, but I think the lip would look better in black. But that is the ricer in me, right Rob?
