    how does the intake get sufficient air fighting against windstreams which are going in the opposite direction of the intake at high speed?...
    maybe thats not a factor...

        How you can have an M42 and not have room in your engine bay for a turbo is beyond me.

            i wondered the same. Ppl stick turbos int he engine bay with an m20? m42 cannot be bigger lol.. i wonder

              in the bmw car club of quebec there is a guy with an e30 318ic turboed. (M42 turbo btw) It's in the engine bay at the exhaust manifold like any normal turbo would be... i'll have to ask him for details...
