if you guys have never seen the concept go the ststurbo.com They do them for a lot of american cars like vettes camaros mustangs gto's trucks etc. Just watch some of the vids too, it makes the turbo insanely loud!
I have to ask why rear?!?!? Thats a TON of piping which = less efficiency. Mine is going to be top mount, there isn't a lot of room for a bottom. What triple K is that? k26?

I dont have anymore updated pics of the set-up because the car is in storage and waiting to get a new clutch. We pulled the muffler system out and put the turbo back there and just piped to it. And the reason i havnt lowered it is because i cant. If i lower it i will destroy the system because the brackets are really low.
We put it in the rear because we didnt have any room in the front. The set up actually is not less efficient because it doesnt require an intercooler. And yea the turbo is a k26 but we're changing it to a KO3 because it will spool up faster and the engine is only capable of using 7 pounds of boost.
haha well my top mount will be pushing more than 7psi but whatever. You have to remove stuff to make it fit up front. BUT I think its cool that you did a turbo m42 anyway, people thought it wasn't possible. Mine should hopefully be done by the end of the summer.

My turbo is actually using 21psi but the dump valve regulates it to 7psi because the engine cant handle it due to the 10-1 compression ratio. So if you puch way over 7psi you will blow it up. And goodluck with yours i'm sure it will turn out great
I agree, but in my opinion, before all that work is done to the engine greating more power, the chassis should be modified to handle it, this being the suspension and brakes.
15 year old, stock, squishy, worn out suspension components aren't what I'd want on a turbo'd car.
