Yeah, the S38 shares almost the identical design of the S14, but like I said, with 2 more cylinders.

              to anger the s14 guys...

its the other way around, the s38/88 came before the s14. So the s14 is an s38 with two less cylinders

It was in southern Jersey...and yes it was from egay. It looks like its in good shape so far. No abnormal wear on the valvetrain and its VERY clean. Motor spins over easily without any wierd noises but I wont get a chance to get the pan off till next week. Tranny shifts through all the gears easily as well.

Seems like it was more than worth the price so far. I figured it was worth the risk since itll get rebuilt anyway.

                    whats a PT76?

ive always wanted a e28 M5 so bad, but the rebuild costs of that motor are pretty insane even compared to a s14. Plus its seems like they have more problems, but thats just my observation. Youre going to stroke it i assume?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Pretty much doing the same setup thats on that car except with a b35 instead of a b38....stock stroke, just forged pistons/rods and lots of boost.

Be prepaired to spend a TON of money.....my buddy jared (member here) just abandoned that idea after he bought it because of the amout of money that engine requires....at least 10k if your going to boost...easy

                        Good Luck though

holy sheet you got that for cheap. stock is 311 hp, how much you going to build it up. Get it closer to 400 horse and that car will be f---ing wicked

edit: just read your going to turbo it? Good god, I think that will cost an arm and both legs, but more power to ya!
