After that effort I'll be throwing this valence in the garbage...to big of a valence to fit nice under a plastic bumper

thanks! Still much more to do, just bought some wheels from a friend and going to be getting them this weekend. Working till next week but here's a "short list" of things that need to be done for me not to cringe when driving.
Finish installing power steering (crush nut to keep from leaking)
Fix left turn signal (just buzzes, Stalk, Relay, Hazard switch?)
Adjust front windows so it goes down all the way(and doesn't click when it reaches the top)
Sunroof headliner replacement (torn)
Sunroof Motor replacement (clicks)
Dash replacement (cracked)
Instrument Cluster replacement(VDO for working Motometer)
Determine leak (Please don't be the main seal)
Diagnose Oil light briefly appearing when coming to a stop
Reset Engine inspection light
Replace bulb in passenger running light
Get muffler shop to bypass honeycombed catalytic converter
While at shop, get them to weld on dual round muffler tips
Install A/c into car (R132)
Install Bluetooth headunit /Aftermarket amplifier/ subwoofer
Install e90 drophats
Retrofit interior lights with LED
These lists are more of me having a central place to find all the stuff I need to remember, but never dosigpicGrind it till you find it.Comment

After gathering the parts needed (under $100) it really doesn't make sense. The time and effort for the "weight savings" is really counter intuitive. I will never understand it.
Thanks, much more to come.sigpicGrind it till you find it.Comment

swapped the wheels off my vert. Tires on the 002's are too short for a non lowered car.
Need to get the same size tires for my vert now since it it super slammed now.
ABS issue is fixed, powersteering is installed and working beautifully, need to tighten down the belt a bit as it squeels just a bit when at a standstill, but that's an easy fix.sigpicGrind it till you find it.Comment

Driving home from work my oil pressure light flashes. This had happened before and some people in my car club suggested it may be the oil weight I was using. Then it happened. A loud KABOOM and complete loss of power at 70 mph. I steered off the interstate and popped the hood just in time to put out the fire underneath the engine with my sweater. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I had invested so much time and energy into maintaining this car and I was now devastated by the tragedy of a blown engine. My theory is the engine had some trash in it from the previous owner (s) unable to be removed by typical oil changes and it sucked some trash into the oil pump clogging it and causing oil loss resulting in flammable friction and blowing a hole out of the side of the block delivering the final death blow.
