    Striking Gold... Again

Well... It happened again. I stumbled upon yet another insane deal on a rare E30. (For anyone not familiar with my other threads, this is not the first time it's happened...see sig)

It's a 82 Euro 320i in Bronzit with Nutria Brown cloth interior. As far as I know, this is one of the very first E30's ever produced, it was first registered in December 1982 and has a November 1982 build date. I've never seen an earlier E30.

It was listed locally for a very low asking price. With a few odds and ends I found missing when I went to go see it, I managed to get the price down even further. Ultimately, this car cost me less than a set of tires for my M3...:D

I got it into my shop today and had a first chance to look over it, I pulled the carpet and some other stuff, guess what... except for a tiny spot right by the gas pedal, it's completely rust free!!! The only other problem is a dented and misaligned hood

The engine runs smooth, the clutch seems good... overall everything checks out even better than expected.

I only took a couple of cell phone shots so far... stay tuned for more, this should get pretty exciting!

Cool, that is crazy early. I never realized e30s technically spanned [strike]9[/strike] 11 years ('82-'93)

Nice ride there. My favorite color. How does the b20 feel? M20 or M10?

I had no idea they were making them that early. Congrats on the find and also with the M3. Looking forward to more pics.

                            93 - 82 = 9.

                            Yep, sounds right to me.
