    Cleaned up the 318

Spent a little time cleaning her up today. You can also see how near-perfect the color match from paintscratch is on the passenger side rear corner, which was once a giant dent.

Also, new wheels and I removed the heckblend from the rear end.

tokiko HP's are terrible on an e30...u definately wanna look into some KONI or Bilstein... i had tokiko's on my e30 just b/c they were cheap$$, but turns out they are also just plain cheap.

You are about the 100th person I've heard that from. I've used HP's on a few cars with no problems at all. Plus there is a lifetime warranty. They were cheap, the ride/handling is great and I have never personally experienced a problem with them. I've had them on a honda, toyota, 4 vw's and now this car. I also have a friend that has been running them on his 325es for about 4 years and they are still going strong. So you're wasting your breath here. I've also been modding german cars for about 14 years, so I kind of know what I'm doing. Thanks for the attempt at input though.

hey dont get me wrong, i have had them on my datsun for ~5yrs, without problems. also they were ok when i first started driving my e30, but if u try and do any kind of serious driving on these shocks, expect some serious wheel hop, bottoming out, and overall lack-luster performance in any kind of high stress situation. visually, just compare the piston size of the HP to a KONI or Bilstein...

Your car looks great and nice work on the dent, so you used
paintscratch's spray cans or did you use a gun? I have to agree
about the tokicos, the PO had them on my e30 and the fronts blew out and handling was floaty and loose.

I used the spray can from paintscratch.. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The 30$ it cost me for supplies sure beat the 300$ a body shop wanted to charge.

Personally I love the tokicos. I guess to each his/her own.

What did you do to blend the color of the paint after you sprayed the area. Did you wetsand at all? If so with what grit sandpaper?

                            Great lookin car.
