Beautiful car! I've always preferred Mtech 1's over Mtech 2's, but sadly we never got them in the states. Look's like you waited out for the right car, looks like it was really taken care of, and you brought it to the next level with a M30 :D

            Thanks guys!

CorvalisBMW : Im glad you enjoyed it  ..One thing I do love about the UK is the countryside, very nice roads to have a nice blast down..all safely of course ;D

KIRIEIW: I've also always preferred the styling of the Mtech 1's and I'll be honest I just got really lucky with this one! :D Its definitely at the next level with the M30 in there! I don't think I could go back to an M20 engine now..The power and torque from low down in the rev range is amazing! It feels like it should be there :D

efficient: Thanks for subscribing man

I hope to keep you guys entertained with my journey!

Well I've been a bit of a busy boy today as these finally arrived 8)

Now I was planning to wait until I had some fresh shocks to go with these my impatience decided otherwise :o:
Plus I wanted to see how much it would actually drop the car by.

So I got to work removing and replacing the springs:

              The size difference!

Then I moved onto the fronts, don't forget I had the tech II springs on the front after I changed the engine, this is the size difference of the springs

and the end result (and it hasn't completely settled yet) 8)

I took her for a nice drive and what a difference just the springs have made! Even the braking felt more responsive! Can't wait to get myself some shocks now!

The time had finally come to sort out the very neglected Borbet A's :o:

I knew they needed tyres from the day I bought them as the guy who had them before must have had his car slammed to a serious level to get them to this state!

Then I got started with the clean up!

Before (on the right) and After

              Fresh Tyres

Replaced the badges to BMW ones 8)

Tried them on the car..It would need to settle me thinks

Still plenty more to come 8)

Excellent work man. Those are some tiny tires though.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
