Looks fucking hilarious with a sidewall stretched in 3" and then an additional 3" of fender gap on top of the tire...

Tough crowd. I have to say that if he had the right
drop and at least 215's on there he'd have one of the
            nicer e30's on the forums.

i will go with 215 when i'll buy new tires, the 205 were on them if i didn't already mentioned that. more drop will come too, but not for the moment. I'm rubbing in the rear anyway so lets do one thing at a time...i just installed them yesterday

              thanks (in advance) egk hehe

btw i don't really care what people think, there's always gonna be haters no matter what you do.

Bob was not a cheap waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, but intelligent and had a magnificent track car.

Other popular wheels, like OZ Supperleggas and SSR Comps are not very cheap, but they are pretty easily sourced and replaced. Go ahead and try to find one BBS RS exact as whatever ones you were running. 3 out of 4 ain't bad.
By the way, Vlad's car owns that car. Plus he runs RS's. I dont see why you care when someone tracks wheels that you dont think are trackable! If they are aware they are rare and they still track them, I think they have the bank/ have some kind of replacement for them.

Oh... nice body roll in your sig, did you buy that suspension you have from pedro to put on your "track car"

Jap wheels are awsome by the way, every one should get them right heeter!?

stfu you moron. Bob built and put a lot of time and care into his car intelligently, Vlad signed a check. respect to the man who has the heart in his car, not his bank account only. you dumb kids won't get it

have bank / have stupidity. he used to track on Kopis with his FAUX ALPINA track car, and those were replaceable, but i guess his track wheel choice was based on the new bling fad, not logic.

"track car"? what? it seems plenty of track time. and the suspension is fine for learning on. I pushed it hard this weekend at CenDiv and it was neutral and was great. i get it back out on the roadcourse in 2 weeks.

no name calling but FYI - I personaly prepped and painted my car with my own hands. I put all the suspension and the brakes on it myself. I don't know how to do the wiring, so yes, I paid Rui to do the swap and all the electrical work.

                            you're a moron/kid/tool for not having a fucking clue

why do you assume Vlad would pwn Bob's car, (OR WHO FUCKING CARES). DE cars do not compete in speed, only racecars do. you might be confused because Vlad has put a race-built engine and GRAPHICS on his wannabe poseurboy "racecar".

Peak horsepower doesn't mean anything. What matters is where you're getting the power. Euro 6-throttle motors don't pull any harder than US single-throttles until about 4500-5000rpm. In BMW CCA Club Racing, the guys with built US 3.2's are pulling on the 6-throttle guys coming out of corners because of the mid-range torque advantage. Sure, at the very end of the straights, the 6-throttles have pulled a bit, but all they do is scream until 7500, 8000.

Furthermore, the cost of PARTS for the 6-throttle motors is outrageous. Ignition coils are about $90 a pop, whereas they are about $35 a piece for a US motor. Keep in mind you have 6 of those sum'bitches. Don't get me started on the cost of upgrades for Euro motors (ECU's, exhausts, etc).

I would go with a US 3.0 or 3.2, OBD-1 regardless. They are a tried and true install, the parts are available everywhere, they have truckloads of mid-range, they pull like hell up top, they are cheaper than Euro motors, and the install and wiring is just simpler. Go pick up a 3.0 or 3.2, a swap kit, the parts needed....and throw it in there.

The guys with US 3.0's and 3.2's with common upgrades are getting lots of power and torque out of them, with outstanding curves.

                            Typical bolt-ons:
-Euro HFM, 21.5# injectors (standard on 3.2)
                            -Custom software to match HFM/injectors
                            -pulleys
                            -fan delete
                            -custom intake setup
                            -exhaust (deletion of cats)

These guys are getting 230+ wheel horsepower.

You make the call, but I just put in my thoughts.

                            What would I do? Either a 3.0 or 3.2 US motor.....OBD-1, regardless.
For DEs, the easier maintence US engine seems to be the winner.

What tires does Vlad have? Bob had some nice ones.

BODY ROLL DOES NOT EQUAL BAD, you fucking moron. yes, it looks silly, and eventually lets go, but great to help learn on so it reacts and not just stiff and then loses control. when I rehook the rear swar and use the m3 front swaybar endlink, it'll be a lot flatter and hopefully still neutral. i'll have camber, ride heights, adjustable dampers, and springs at both ends to be sure of that too.
