How do the LED turns fair against stock? Brighter? Can you use a stock lens with them?
I measured and marked the spots like 8 times I was extremely paranoid of messing up the spacing and the alignment but it paid off

LED turns came out well! In that picture the LED is on the left and regular bulb on the right. That picture was also with them on the "dim" setting as opposed to when they are brighter for the "blink". I got the second brightest bulb available but should've just gotten the brightest one - I was worried it would be too bright. I did this mostly to match the color of the led H1 amber bulbs I put in the high beams since I have a bi-xenon retrofit.

Truth. I haven't had front plates on either of my cars since I moved here 2 years ago and never got a ticket. Though I know others who've gotten tickets immediately

Edit: never mind. Didn't realize how dark it was. Oh well

Depo. But in hindsight it probably wouldn't have been tough to DIY. I remember seeing someone post up templates (I think they were hella templates actually) to make your own crosshairs for the high-beam

Shouldn't be too tough. I think basically they just paint the "smiley" plate black and in the high beams it's just the black cross hairs that make them look smoked and then the trim around the the headlight lenses is black as well, as I'm sure you know
