I promised the owner that the car itself will never come back in streets. There is no vin number in the car. There is too much rust. Sideskirts are rusted with big holes, all around the Front window its rusted.

I have an e30 m3 evo2 where Most of the parts are missing. I can use a lot of the cecotto Parts ;)

I am not sure about how things are done in Germany, but how can there not be a vin number. Unless maybe the po salvaged the car?

I can understand how you would want parts for your very nice m3:)

Yeah i promised him and he removed all VIN numbers and plates so it can never be Registered as a real cecotto.
He owned it for over 20 years and he drove it all day... Winter and summer. The car has 296.000 km on it, he never did any bodywork. I think the owner had also some psychic problems.

Yes, that is strange, but sure makes the car a parts car:). Bet you can't wait to get some of those nice parts on your m3!:)
