I don't know why I keep coming back to this thread. It's pretty depressing to see this happened to a Henna. I'm surprised it already up on IAA. Did they ask if you wanted to keep the car? Just noticed this car and my Lachssilber are within 10 of each other.

It's listed but owner/insurance company have not come to a final decision on fate most likely. That is how I bought my Alpine Weiss one, insurance settlement then owner bought back from insurance company.

            Sorry again for your loss...

Man that's rough. I remember how I felt after my old 02 was hit, and that ended up getting fixed.
Hopefully you can salvage some parts and grab another M3 sooner than later.

I'm sure almost every Alpha Team member has a story about this car!

First time i rode in it was in Leavenworth for Oktoberfest. Mlarsen was driving, Adam was sitting shotgun, and my black, sexy ass was in the back seat, wondering what was soooooo special about owning an M3 compared to a standard E30....

And then it hit me...All of the hot dudes (and even hot chicks) were gawking at it, breaking their necks left and right! That's when I realized where our Alpha Team lifestyle was born.

long live the Henna, brother :(

I am so sorry for youre loss. I saw this on facebook. made me really sad to see. its sad when any e30 is lost but when an M3 is lost its devastating. Im really happy youre okay. I really hope you can find another M3 to replace it my friend.

The E30 M3 has been one of my dream cars since I was 13 and seeing this makes me so sad. Glad you made it out fine.

Knowing that people like Subaru driver are able to drive on public roads and keep their license infuriates me. I feel your pain because my last vert was totaled a month ago. Extremely similar circumstances. She was busy on her phone and riding my ass, unaware of the people in front of her, and traffic slowed to a stop. I got pushed into a CR-V and the front end got buckled in, the rear quarter panel crumpled and the spare tire well got pushed forward and the frame was most likely bent. Insurance tried shafting me and we didn't have any of that, so I got more than I paid for it, bought another vert and we're all good.

Who knows, if you're lucky, you might find another M3 you can put your love and soul into in honor of it. You gotta be optimistic. Condolences for your loss. <3

Thanks for all the love guys. This car has definitely been a part of me for the past five years and is part of my identity. This car will live on in one form or another, how exactly that takes shape is for another thread, and another time.
