Yea the crazy thing was the mechanic said they knocked out the separator between the battery light and check engine. So when the battery light came on at key turn it lit up both. The difference was the check engine light was now red when it should have been amber. Oversight by me.

Sorry about your loss. BTW a car payment isnt an aweful thing as long as you pay off the car and keep it for a while. We own all of ours straight out except the new X5 we are buying. But once that one is paid off we will keep it for a long time.

Nice! We were planning on buying the X5d but the 2016's were delayed due to probably them double checking the emissions after the whole VW thing. We couldnt wait any longer so we orderd the 3.5i with the MPPK, the things a little rocket, friend has one with the same kit and its 0-60 in 5.5 sec, not bad for a big SUV.
