Car was in the mechanic for 2 days. It was consuming way too much fuel, so i asked in the m42 subforums for opinions. The temp sensor was mentioned, and the mechanic found out that indeed it wasn't working properly. He put in a new one, let's hope that was the problem.

Other goodies while it was there: New bushings up front, suspension of the hood, beams were aligned and a skid plate was applied ;)

        Nice work on the car.

e30s always have softer ride in the rear than the front - that's how they get the power down out of corners by making the car squat. The rear springs are also progressive, so they get firmer as the suspension travels.

My Eibachs + Bilstein B6s do the same thing.

It's made by a portuguese company, but i can't find any more info on it... Searching the name of the company on google returns nothing... Sorry
Personally i don't like it though, i'm getting rid of it soon

Hey guys, so the car is finally back from the mechanic today. It was currently doing 12.2l/100 (before mechanic). Things that were done:
                    -New control arms
                    -New bushings
-New wheel bearing for front left wheel
-Lambda sensor got cleaned up and fixed, wasn't working properly
-other sensors all around were "touched up" and overall priming of car

Things he noticed that will need fixing:
Somewhat urgent: front right shock, almost gone
Not so urgent : the catalyzer is getting a bit obstructed, not much right now but still

Also right now the alignment is fucked up, given the work he did.

So... Let's hope the fuel consumption drops! Filled a tank today, will report when I have results!

So the cat is out, and a resonator is now in its place. Much better!

                      Also...

                      New wheels!

                      16x9 et 20 back
                      16x8 et 25 front, 3mm spacers
                      Khumo Ku39 205/45/16
                      Full chrome

No wheel centers at this moment cause on of them got lost in the shipping. Will have them in 1/2 weeks
