New member here. I recently picked up a 1991 318is. I wanted one back in the day and never bought one. I did buy a 318ti and I really like the little M42/M44 engine. This one appears to be in very nice condition. 105K miles, zero rust, nice interior. The only thing I've done so far is replace the blacked out grill.

    Here are some pics:

I'm still a newbie with the E30. I honestly didn't know it had the euro grill. As far as I knew it was stock except for a Z3 shifter and an aftermarket radio. I have a lot to learn.

I purchased it from an independent BMW shop in Atlanta. They went completely through the car replacing everything that was suspect (suspension, tires, seals...)

The co-owner of the shop has quite a few 2002's including a few race cars. There were several 2002's in the shop in various stages of repair/restoration. Very nice folks to deal with.

No real plans. It needs a good detailing and that's about it. I'll be able to get antique plates for it next month, so I haven't registered it yet. I'm anxious to get that done so I can drive it. I've only driven it around the neighborhood.
