If you are looking to have the swap ultimately pass CA Emissions, go with an obd1-converted s52, or an aluminum block m52 with s52 cams.

You can have a completely legal swapped e30 that will beat stock e46 m3s on a regular basis. Unless you hate speed otherwise then stay stock and make her really pretty.

Quick snap of it. Still don't have the lip and splitter on it so it's not complete, but I will Sunday. Just don't wanna drive it around town with it. And hopefully soon I'll be ordering my CCW'S

I also came from an s2000 (AP2, GPW). I enjoyed the simplicity of that car. It was a great driver.




The e30 is quite a different beast and a different driving experience but it puts a huge grin on my face driving it, working on it or even just looking at it.

Yes, completely different but same smiles and double takes when I see the e30.

Took her to the muffler shop and got a Borla Cat-back installed. She sounds nice! Not too loud, just throaty enough to sound sporty without the overkill.

Got home and gave the tip a few coats in high heat flat black. I'm not too into fancy exhausts tips, wanted to keep it simple and discrete.
