    Some very poor attempts

Easily the worse pictures I've taken since I've gotten my DSLR, but oh well, I was out of the groove last night.

Not bad but I agree Teej. Not the best coming from you. If I would have taken those I would be ecstatic ;)

Could have been taken with Pasha's cellphone (I'm not sure if that's a diss to TJ's camera, or a compliment to Pasha's phone).

I have to agree... your skills are usually superb and the photos that you post reflect that... these are not up to your usual standard. The car looks hot as always however.

Why did you use such a high ISO if you were using a tripod at night?

The tops of the car are actually the best paint. What you see is the refection of the texture of the parking garage. Only the quarter panels (lower sections) have bad paint.

I wasn't using a tripod, they were all hand held.

TJ, I am seeing an assload of vignetting in the first shot. Was that intended? I am sure the whole "circle of light" thing plus the dark sky makes it more obvious.

What lens is that? I want a fisheye for my little Panasonic...but I want the underwater housing more!

It's an 8mm circular fisheye, so wide that the corners are cropped off. That's why all the vignetting, though in good light it doesn't vignette besides the cropped corners. The sky actually had that affect since the sun had set almost 30 minutes before I started shooting, so there was barely any light in the sky.
