305hp at 5600rpm? Those cams probably barely woke up at that speed. Does Finland have a maximum engine output cap in order to be street legal? Or is this for cheaper insurance premiums? :D

Yes. And boost was limited to 0,3bar at dyno, car has been driven 1,2 bar and 7500rpm without problems, so I'd believe there is much more to come.

Finnish winter is long cold and icy, wait for next summer.
      Current:

      BMW 320i 2d 2.0 m20 -88
      BMW 325i Cabriolet 2.5 m50 -88
      BMW 316i touring 1.6 m40 -90
      BMW 320i 4d 2,2 m54 -01

Now those are some beefy connecting rods. As Trevor mentioned it's funny seeing the old E3S folks wandering around.

I see your project has taken a new life better than original. What do the purist's on S14 say?

What bases are those Recaro's? Are they the old Modular LS/LX units? Wonder if the my LS seat with adjustable lumbar support with a base of one of those seats?

305hp with .3 bar and a lowered redline, that's insane. Can't wait to see how it'll do with it's full potential.

            RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

As mentioned earlier, it's not my car.

I don't know about the seats, I'll ask owner when I meet him next time. Seats came wit adjust parts which bolted to original e30 sliderails, if that gives you any info.

Yes, think that engine is barely "on cam" at 5670 rpm, I strongly believe that +400hp isn't problem, but why quess, we'll see by the summer.

Well you must take more pictures then :)

I didn't find any pictures or info about youe exhaust manifold, what are you using?

Seems like my friends car has a "hotspot" between expansion tank and charger, engine temp is normal, but expansion tank is boiling :), he has heatwrap around donwpipe and heat shield around chrager(both visible on pictures earlier).

We tried running the car without hood and with rear hood latches raised so they left hood like inch open on rear edge, suprisingly it helped.

He's planing to install somekind of revesed scoop so the hot air could escape.
