    BMW M3 1988 turbo project.

    Hello I just registerd to here, I'm 30 years old BMW(E30 mostly :) ) enthusiast from Finland. I used to hang around in e30sport.net forums few years ago, but I havent been to net much for years, now I'm back.

    My friend has been rebuilding his 1988 M3 and asked me to share the project pictures with you, so here we go:

    New sport evo lookalike interior:



    Catcams 283 degree cam shafts. Tatech programmable engine management with direct ignition. Cometic metal head gasket. Cr ~8,5:1. Bore 94mm.

        Are you going to protect the rubber hose that taps into the turbo housing? It seems like it's in a potentially hot area!

        Sweet work! The pistons and rods look really sexy (and light)!

            The engine has now been test driven with 0,7 bar boost for ~1000km and it's not perfectly tuned yet it'll be dynoed during winter. The charger and injection parts are good for ~600 hp, the bottom end for even more.

            The hose has been mounted to top of engine and exhaust housing now has a heat shield.

                            Nice project! I own soem Wisecos as well. I just started my engine, so not much feedback on those yet.

                            How much boost? Power? Torque?

                            I'm planing to buy those seats soon!:)
