Still learning. Fortunately Castro and Bimmerheads are within a 30 min drive from me! From what I've read, they can help steer me in the right direction!Last edited by 1SIKWGN; 02-18-2017, 12:35 AM.Leave a comment:

Yes definitely Jon's old car. I believe he sold it to that Persian kid Amir who also bought chameleon leather's old Alpine 4-door on 17" 5-lug Alpinas.Must be Griggs' old car. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=241570
I'm guessing he never got around to that engine swap?Leave a comment:

You need to do a m54b30 swap. Then it'll be like the touring version of Stucke's car.Leave a comment:

My first post after lurking for a few weeks.
Just picked her up a 3 days ago. Having been unattended to, exposed to the elements, and not driven, she wasn't too pretty. Swept off all the spider webs, flushed fluids, and replaced tranny & motor & plugs. She cleaned up really well after a thorough wash, clay, and polish.
Initial impressions:
1. Surprisingly, rides fairly comfortable...comparable to my bagged Sienna.
2. Got a thumbs up within 30 minutes of driving.
3. Transported me back to a time when I said...someday!
4. Power is a bit anemic, so already researching possible options, swap vs. turbo
Immediate to do list: tint, amp/speakers, alarm, power door locks, cargo cover (if i can locate one), install rear wiper, arm-rest/drink holder, headliner, Thule bike rackLast edited by 1SIKWGN; 01-31-2018, 04:20 PM.Tags: None
