straight6pwr has a brand new bag (again?)

some of you OGs may recognize me, but for the rest of you millennials out there, my name is Dan and I've been addicted to e30s for a long time. i've had a brief foray into the world of e34 tourings after my e30 met its demise in 2012, but I'm back. i still have the e34 touring as a work truck/road trip machine (see signature)

for this round of e30 ownership, I went for my favorite combination of all time, a late model alpine coupe with s50 swap. i found a slightly neglected car that was already swapped in WA and drove it back to WI back in the fall.

    from the road trip home:

after some months of fixing, I've been driving it since the weather turned here in WI and loving the hell out of it.

i have no long term plans other than keep it running and daily drive it when there isnt snow on the ground. i plan on doing some auto-x, ice rallies, and DEs over time.

just did the mtech I rear spoiler and hooked up the custom parking lights this last weekend

mod list for the inquisitive minds
    replaced/refinished the entire interior
rebuilt vinyl sport seats dyed with SEM products
    renown steering wheel

    'is' side skirt delete
    e28 mtech I rear spoiler
    euro plate filler
other shizzle i cant think of

Good score finding one already swapped and it looks heaps better with the BBS.

Cool mountainous landscape in the background of those first two pictures. Where was that?

                thanks guys.

first picture is South Dakota, second is Idaho. The drive through the Coeur d'alene area of Idaho was insane. I've been to Alaska, and it reminded me of the glacial coast lines, plus lots of winding roads.

Who did you get it from in WA? It looks like my friend Coreys old car, but then again its an Alpine E30, theres only 1,266,249 of them made

Good to see you back. Your 4 door was always an inspiration.

What's the story on your interior? What vinyl and what sem products did you use?

I pieced together various colors of vinyl interior (natur sport seats, pearl beige door cards, cant remember the back seat). Everything was striped down to pieces, including rebuilding/regreasing the sport seats. I prepped them with the appropriate SEM cleaner/adhesion promoters, then sprayed them all with SEM Color Coat, "Palomino" color.

time will tell on durability. so far so good, though. (2 months of use)

Damn, that looks absolutely incredible. How many cans did you use? Did you spray your carpet as well?
