    Story behind the car:
I bought the car in Knoxville, Tennessee at the end of 2012. I had just completed 3 years worth of work on my 87 iS earlier that year, and made the decision it was not going to see the track as originally intended. So this one was bought purely with the intent of eventually fulfilling that purpose.

I knew from the beginning I was going to do a 24v swap and essentially replace the entire suspension, so the fact this one had 272k (on the non-working odometer) was of no consequence.

She's progressed from a purpose-built mountain road carver (aka Brodeo machine) to a full-blown street legal track toy over the course of the last (almost) 5 years, just about all of which has been documented in her build thread:

Big thanks to all my friends who've lent a hand in the progress of this car over the years. You know who you are!

Nice, does it have a tow hitch? I've found the car that you don't have to worry about but can do just about anything in is more fun than a 'nice' car.

The minor imperfections and clearcoat issues really don't matter when the mechanicals are sorted out. Nice feature showing how some of the best e30s aren't just the ones with the flashiest parts or biggest hp numbers.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

It does indeed have a tow hitch. Thanks for the kind words!

Well deserved. I don't know about its track record but it is a burner on the Tail of the Dragon.

Love it. Inspiring me to get busy on the Verty30’s suspension refresh.

Always nice to see an e30 being used like that, let alone a bronzit! <3

How did you do the tow hitch? I've been thinking of making a tire trailer like that
