I saw you were only 4-sec back from Justin, damn he is getting fast as I believe he has FTD. Was a nice course layout and the new lot is pretty good.

yes, they are modified stock strut bearings. also running M3 offset cabs.

and yeah, justin was very fast.. he beat the bugeye with a wide margin. I'm generally much closer to his times (~2 seconds) but I blew 2 of my runs in the afternoon (one where I missed some gates and anothere where I spun out through the slalom). and he was also very fast that day! :)

a little grinding, drilling and welding got me this:

I basically eyeballed it (using my parts car to line it up), but it ended up dead on. now that it's done I kinda wish I had increased the caster as well, but I'll wait until I do some adjustable camber plates down the road. kinda scary cutting up new bearings, they are about $100 a peice.

this is about as much as you can get out of the stock bearings though, they are pretty much right against the strut towers. I haven't had it measured, but I figure I have about -3 degrees on the passenger side and around -2.5 on the drivers side (I think the strut on the passenger side is slightly bent, as I discovered that I had a camber correction mount on that side).
