Heating primarily. There arent too many situations Id run into where I would need to actively cool it. I wont be going to Arizona any time soon.

How much do these packs in the front weigh? About as much as a M10/20? Would you even need power steering if they're lighter than that?

Theres around 240lbs of battery up front. You dont NEED power steering by any means, but its a nice creature comfort especially with a 2.7 turn rack.

Thanks for these updates. I know some just work and don't intend, desire to share.

They are inspiring and certainly enjoyable..

"around 240lbs of battery up front", does that mean each battery pack weighs about 120? or was it ~100lbs each plus the other stuff?

If thats the case, you have about 5-600lbs in the back, not counting the motor itself? I think I saw 2 slightly smaller batteries & 4 larger batteries like the 2 up front

What are the rear spring rates on the coilovers? Beauty in that setup is that you can easily change the springs to a higher rate, should you need to. Im diggin it

There’s around 400lbs of battery in the back. There’s 2 large and two small ones in the back.

So it’s 150lbs less than with the LS. Porsche 930ish weight distribution. This is with the hood and bumpers hanging. I have less than 50lbs is misc. stuff to go in still.

Idk why, but I always felt like BMW’s advertised weight of a late model convertible was way off. I think this is an example of it.
