    318i content

Yesterday (20 Mar 19) I flew in to Cleveland, to pick up this 318i. Car is really clean in and out with only 95k miles on it and r134 AC conversion. I drove it back to northern VA, with zero hiccups. It was about a 6hr drive and I did it on one tank of gas. Crazy, right?

The car before I picked it up.

Today I went straight to work on it. Swapped the wheels for a set of weaves I had with new tires (195/65/14). Dropped the lower oil pan to check for lose bolts and or debris, from timing components. Everything was clean!! As expected. I unbolted the 6 bolts, put blue loctite on them, and bolted them back in. Added a fresh CCA badge and a ZHP shift knob.

...and you favor the m42 cars. We have a 318is at the shop right now, aside from a couple door dings and 250+k miles, it's like it was bought last month. Gotta keep them ladies happy!

Look forward to your end result...
