Drove Big Tujunga Canyon and ended up taking the E30 off-roading today, also cleared 107k.

                  Thanks Sonny... oh wait...

Anyways. Had an opportunity to buy some hard-to-find Euro parts so I needed quick cash. Sold the Euro Smileys, bought some Euro H4/H1 sealed beams and ... some other stuff...

Installed the lights today but had the type of surprise we never like.

Here’s a side by side of one US sealed beam setup next to the Euro sealed beam

                  And here’s the bummer...

Now I need to figure out how to replace the one broken Euro light.

Other Euro part will be displayed later. No, it’s not Euro bumpers, Mtech1 kit or anything like that sadly.

Hopefully I can get my hands on some euro bumpers soon though, as OK as I am with the diving boards I feel like I need that Euro slim bumper goodness soon

I should’ve taken it and gotten the A/C fixed but that will have to wait. I decided to take a long early drive to see a guy about a thing. While I was there he cleaned up the car a bit...

SSRs look fantastic when clean, no joke.

                      Not joking around here

                      PaPoW! Jokes over

Need to clean the side trim and reinstall it. Definitely worth the drive and now I can focus on getting the A/C done so I’m cool while looking cool... also all joking aside, if anyone can figure out why I was not joking around about this and the comments are not a joke either, I will award you 3 internet points.

You know, if you put your windows down, you might be a little cooler while driving. Speeding also helps.

How do you plan to attack the side trim? I need to clean mine up too, and get it all to one shade of black.

That might work in Montana but it doesn’t in LA. Besides I have everything to do it right .

I just used some simple green and it’s all nice and clean. Tried to take some pics after but the bright sun ruined it. Maybe tomorrow or something

when you pop off the side trim on the fenders, does it fit loose after you reinstall it again? or do you buy new clips ?
