Im surprised at the amount of people that preferred the WEDs. I see what you are all saying, cuz those rims were like the hallmark of my car. Dont worry guys, Im keeping them so I can put them back on from time to time. ;) I drove the car back from the muffler shop today and I noticed it settled a bit more. Its a very tight 1 finger fit in the rear, and in the front about 2 fingers. That will be remedied when i finally get the Gruppe N's in the front.

yeah i think Ive gotten myself int a bit of a pickle. To look good with these rims, I may have to sacrifice performance a bit more (since increasing diameter effects accel. and gearing anyways). Id love to tuck tires all around, but then ill be pulling fenders out right and left haha. :)

You gotta do what you gotta do :D. Those wheels are way better than the WEDS as nice as the may be. RS is a TIMELESS classic. Its like buying a Rolex, its an investment cuz in essence they will never go out of style. Motorsport with class.

I am a bit biased though.

Mine are 15x8 but I recently sold the lips and will be re-lipping with some lips from Germany most likely with a different conical shape. I'm not sure what size they will be. Maybe 15x8.5 all around or back to 15x8. I just want to make sure I can stay just as low and tuck tire all around. Tires are 195-45-15. I love RS's they are a treat to take apart and put back together its like being a caveman and discovering the wheel.

And I think the suits compliment the jetta since the look is based around a motorsport class.

I love the RS, they are true classics ! The only 2 cars that can pull that super HOT look are the VWs and E30s...The WEDs were not suited for the M3, they looked out of place with missing center caps, etc...

Keep in mind what kind of audience is giving you their opinion here, then ask yourself - would you listen to someone who drives stock 318s with hubcaps?
Not to put anybody down, but common, Mariano's car is one of the hottest e30 m3s around, the smoked hellas, splitter, mirrors, evo rear wing and the new RS are magazine material.

You made the right choice and your old dream became the reality, enjoy it !

I value all opinions, but it was surprising to see the amount of people that preferred the WEDs. Not bad not good, just surprising. Im personally happier than shit and think they are the cats ballz. Of course I love how my car looks with the WEDs, its a little more "business". It gives the car a no-nonsense look (which Im partial to). This makes it much more of a showcar, of which I usually have been against, but since Im keeping the WEDs, I feel its ok since I can change them out when I want. And thanks for the compliments, Vlad. Coming from you, its something. Thanks for the encouraging words as well.
