okay okay, so I got a CF hood.. it's from mashaw.com, and yes it weighs about 10lbs. the cardboard box it came in weighed 20lbs.. haha. it doesn't come "finished" like the VIS hood (needs polishing/clearcoated), but it's not deformed and made with fiberglass filler either. I'm planning on painting the top side and leaving the bottom exposed... it looks great but I just don't think I would like it very much exposed on a silver car. I don't know though.. it's a tough choice.
there is other stuff for my car too, some good and some bad. but it will be pretty nice when it's done. :)
