What color to paint e30's?

Both myself and my brother are getting e30's for the summer, but we're finding them in either white or gray, both of which are colors that neither of us like.

So, we're going to paint them, whatever we get. Full on paint jobs. The question is, what color? Don't want to go too flashy. Avus blue is cool, but not e30'esque. Black is always cool, but is there something better?

There is nothing better than black. It's like owning a stick shift, once you have that maybe you'll get an automatic. Black is the new blue.

I saw an early model 318i the other day in an off color green. While it was ugly as it was dirty and the car was bone stock, on a modified car with wheels and so on it would look very nice.

It was an E30 thou, there is a pic on e30.de in the oldtimer section for e30 besides the e21 section.

The majority of E30's aren't worth the time/effort to paint, just wait til you find one that is a color you like.
